a regularly featured artist in Juxtapoz magazine and a painter and
illustrator associated with the low brow art movement, Van Arno’s work
has been shown alongside the likes of Mark Ryden, Chaz Bojorquez, Kenny
Scharf, Anthony Ausgang and others. His current show in SF showcases his

with the imagery of religion and its use of the heroic figure and
although he has been exploring non-narrative themes recently, his focus
remains on the figure and it's power to engage the viewer.]
